Serviced & Furnished Apartments in Dhaka
Move-in-ready furnished homes in Gulshan, Banani and Baridhara with linen, kitchen, internet and back-up power — billed monthly, not per night.
Short answer: Rent Property lets serviced and fully furnished apartments in Dhaka — mainly in Gulshan, Banani, Baridhara and Bashundhara — for diplomats, UN and NGO staff and international company employees staying from around five months to two years. You arrive with your luggage; furniture, kitchen, linen, internet and back-up power are already in place, and you pay monthly rather than by the night.
A serviced apartment in Dhaka sits between a hotel and a conventional unfurnished lease. You get the space, privacy and kitchen of a real home, with the practical set-up already done. For a foreign professional arriving on a posting, that removes weeks of buying furniture, arranging connections and chasing tradespeople in an unfamiliar city.
What is included in a serviced apartment in Dhaka?
Inclusions vary from one apartment to the next, so we confirm them in writing before you sign. A typical serviced or fully furnished home we let includes:
- Furniture and linen: beds, mattresses, bed linen, sofas, dining table and wardrobes.
- A fitted kitchen: cooker, fridge, cookware and crockery, usually with a washing machine.
- Air-conditioning in the bedrooms, and geysers for hot water in most buildings.
- Internet and cable connection, set up before you arrive where the building allows.
- Back-up power: almost every building in our current listings has a generator, which matters during Dhaka's power cuts.
- Housekeeping on a weekly or daily schedule, depending on the apartment and what you agree.
- One consolidated monthly invoice covering the items agreed, with formal receipts suitable for corporate expense claims.
We can also help arrange an airport pick-up from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport and assist with getting a local SIM card on arrival.
Who are serviced apartments in Dhaka for?
Our main tenants are foreigners on medium-length assignments: embassy and diplomatic staff, UN agency and international NGO employees, and staff of multinational companies. Families use them too, particularly while children settle into an international school. Most stays run from five months to two years. Some serviced units accept shorter stays from one month, subject to availability — ask us when you enquire.
Is a serviced apartment cheaper than a hotel in Dhaka?
For stays beyond a few weeks, a serviced apartment is often considerably less expensive than a comparable hotel suite, and it gives you far more space and a proper kitchen. The comparison depends on the hotel, the season and what you need, so we suggest pricing both. Our guide on serviced apartment vs hotel in Dhaka sets out the trade-offs.
| Option | How you pay | Best suited to |
|---|---|---|
| Hotel | Nightly rate | Short trips of days or a few weeks |
| Serviced / furnished apartment | Monthly | Postings of several months to two years |
| Unfurnished lease | Monthly, usually longer contracts | Long stays with your own furniture |
